#13 Have a "positive" party funded by negative people. Every time someone in the office is caught being negative, cussing, or complaining, they throw a dollar in a Positive Pot. Once a quarter, the pot buys pizza and sodas for the office.
|
#32 Spike your environment. Place positive, appropriate humor props around your office in out-of-the-way places. Put "Groucho" glasses on your ficus or a red clown nose on your fax machine

| #33 Find one positive thing in everyone you meet. If you seek
faults, faults you will find. If you look for good, good abounds.
|
#51 Establish a "No Whine Zone." Put up signs in
certain areas at work that say, "NO Whine Zone." If people complain in
these areas, politely remind them, "Excuse me, this is a 'No Whine Zone'."

| #55 Write out an "Already Done" list. Instead of
writing out a "To Do" list that remind you how much you've got to do, write out
an "Already Done" list, which will make you feel good about what you've already
accomplished.
|
#58 Create a "Humor Survival Kit." Collect your favorite
jokes, stories, cassette tapes, and funny props to put in your kit.

| #77 Celebrate little successes. Create a ritual to celebrate
the completion of a project or any other reason. Treat yourself!
|
#93 Complain to yourself by leaving messages on the home answering
machine. "Hi Scott, this is Scott! What a day! I was just cut off
in traffic, and my self-esteem is so low that even my imaginary friend won't play with me.
Love ya! Bye!"
